What's a party without food and beverages? Creating an appetizing array of tempty, tasty treats for your party doesn't have to be difficult. Each month we will post an easy-to-make recipe from our show that will tie into the party theme, as well as make a great impression on your party guests. Remember, even with food and beverages, when you Think Party...Think Easy! Think Fun!

S.O.S. Shipwreck Island Party Beverage - the Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon

Take a large punch bowl and add in the following:
1 Cup of Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum
1 Cup of Coconut Rum
½ Cup of Peach Schnapps
½ Cup of Blue Curacao
1 Cup of Pineapple Juice
1 Cup of Orange Juice

Mix together well. Feel free to garnish with pineapple and orange slices for added flavor and visual interest.

Put ice in glass, add Blue Lagoon and serve.

Note: If mixture is too strong, use no more than 1 cup of club soda to dilute. More juice will turn your concoction green and “Green Lagoon” may not be as appealing to drink.

Non-Alcohol Version of Blue Lagoon

Take a large punch bowl and add in the following:
1 Liter Bottle of Chilled Ginger Ale or 7-Up
4 – Packages of Blueberry Kool-aid
2 – 6 oz Cartons of Frozen Orange Juice

Mix together carefully. It really is more green than blue, but still tasty treat.

Note: This is a really fun recipe to use when renting a frozen drink machine.
